Refund policy

1. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

Under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECT Act) of South Africa, you have the right to cancel your order and return your book within 7 days of receiving it, for any reason, without penalty and without needing to give a reason.

2. How to Return an Item

To cancel your order or return your book, email norestfromstress@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for your return (optional, but helps us improve). We'll confirm your return and provide instructions on where to send the book back.

3. Who Pays for Return Shipping

If you're returning the book because you changed your mind (cooling-off cancellation), you are responsible for the cost of returning it to us.
If the book arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, we cover the full cost of the return, and you won't be out of pocket.

4. Condition of Returned Items

For a cooling-off return, the book should be returned in the same condition it was received, where reasonably possible. This helps us process your refund quickly.

5. Refund Timeline

Once we receive your returned book, we'll process your refund within 15 business days. Refunds are paid back to your original payment method via Yoco.

6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

If your book arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, contact us at norestfromstress@gmail.com with a photo where possible. We'll replace it or refund you in full, at your choice, at no cost to you.

7. Non-Returnable Situations

We're unable to offer a cooling-off refund once the 7-day period has passed, except in cases of damaged, defective, or incorrect goods, which remain covered under South African consumer law regardless of this window.
